SAFETY OF WEBSITE, PAYMENT, DISCOUNTS, TOURS

IS IT SAFE TO BOOK ON OUR WEBSITE AND DO YOU USE ANY COOKIES?

Yes of course it is and no WE DO NOT USE ANY COOKIES! Our Website is as safe as it can be and has special security features. PayPal is our choosen provider for all Payments. PayPal has prooven over many years that is is an excellent portal of Payment and features also a lot of security for you as a customer. We have decided not to use any cookies in order no to bother you and “spy” on you.


ARE YOUR TOURS “SAFE”, HAVE A LOT OF COMMERCIAL STOPS OR WILL I BE HASSLED ALL THE TIME DURING THE TOUR

We have made a fine selection of quality operators during the last 15 years, especially to guarantee safe and great experiences, this is very important to us. On our selected Tours you might have stops included but they are more ment for those who have to use the bathroom, want to smoke a cigarette or just want to strech their legs. THERE IS NO HASSLING ON NONE OF THE TOURS!


I DON’T HAVE ANY CREDIT CARD OR I DON’T WANT TO USE IT, CAN I STILL BOOK WITH YOU?

Yes you can and we understand that some customer do not feel comfortable to use their credit card. Booking and Paying directly on our Website is a very efficient process and this is why we can provide you with very competitive Rates. Nevertheless, to do the booking and payment process manually means we cannot honor these same rates since it takes more time. In this case please let us know by email and we will figure out a way that will work for both sides. You might consider our Rep Service where we will attend your booked Hotel.


WHAT ARE THE DISCOUNTS I GET ON THIS WEBSITE

If you buy 1 Tour you will get 15%, if you buy 2 Tours you will get 20% and if you buy 3 or more Tours you will get 23%! Please note, that these discounts do not apply for our “Super Promotions” or “Tickets to Parks”. Eventhough you won’t get an additional discount on those products, they will count towards how many Tours you have bought, so f.e. you buy a “Swim with Dolphins” as your first Tour and “Admission Ticket to Xcaret”, you have bought 2 Tours and a 20% will apply on the “Tour Chichen Itza” (but no discount on Admission Ticket).


CAN DISCOUNTS BE COMBINED WITH A PROMO CODE

Unfortunatelly they cannot. So you have to figure out what is more convenient for you, the general Discounts or the given Promo Code (f.e. our Membership Card).


I DON’T FIND MY HOTEL ON THE PICK-UP LIST

There are so many Hotels in this region and it is impossible to be picked-up at every Hotel or Airbnb. We recommend to search on Google Maps the closest Pick-up point or contact us at: customerservice@solatino.com or ask us in the Chat.


WHY DO YOU HAVE DIFFERENT AREAS IN THE TOUR FINDER

We understand that this might confuse you. On the other hand please understand that each area may feature different prices or might influence the language the Tour is operated or in many cases Tours are not operated from this area. So in applying the “Area” in our Tour Finder we just wanted to give you the specific options you have as a customer. I JUST BOOKED TOURS ON YOUR WEBSITE, WHAT WILL PROCEED

Once you have finished the booking and payment proceedure, you will receive by email immediately a summary of your Booking request. Once we have received the full payment by PayPal we will proceed with the reservation and confirm it within 24 hours sending you the Tour Voucher(s).

CHANGES, CANCELATIONS, VOUCHERS, PRIVATE TOURS

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY CONFIRMED RESERVATION

Yes sure you can, please check out our “Terms & Conditions” section.

DO YOU ALSO OFFER PRIVAT TOURS

Of course we can offer most of our Tours on a private basis and also create something custome made just for you. Just keep in mind that the cost of private Tours will increase quite a bit. On our Website you will already find some Private Tours, if you don’t find what you are looking for just let us know at: customerservice@solatino.com


WILL TOURS BE CANCELLED IF IT RAINS

Most Tours are will be operated “rain or shine”! If we see bad weather in the forcast on the day of your booked Tour, we will get in touch with you in order to reschedule the Tour. The final decision if a Tour will be operated or not has the operator itself or in some cases the Port Authority. Solatino Tours & Travel cannot be held responsible for bad weather and is in most cases no reason to cancel the Tour.


PHISICAL VOUCHER OR ELECTRONIC VOUCHER

When you make the Tour reservation you will have the option between a “phisical Voucher” or “Electronic Voucher”. If you choose the “Phisical Voucher” you would have to print out the Voucher on paper and hand over this Voucher to the Tour Guide or to the Park Entrance Main Cashier. If you choose the “Electronic Voucher”, just make sure you have the Voucher Image on an electronic device and show it together with your ID to the Tour Guide or to the Park Entrance Main Cashier.
